Methods for carbon dioxide removalSoil carbon sequestration

About the method

This method aims to improve the ability of soils to store carbon in the long term through targeted agricultural measures. Practices such as direct sowing, cover cropping and the use of organic materials promote humus formation and increase the carbon content of the soil. This sequesters CO₂ from the atmosphere and stores it in the long term, while at the same time improving soil quality and fertility.
